Admin Guide: How to Manage Inspection Types

Created by Brittany Hildreth, Modified on Tue, 6 May at 10:33 AM by Brittany Hildreth

An administrator on the account can manage inspections by selecting the gear icon in the lower left hand corner of their dashboard.

Clicking the Gear Icon will open the Site Settings. From there, you are able to Manage Inspections, Configure Inspections, Manage Account, Manage Customers, or configure API Integration settings.

Under Manage Inspections, there is Inspection Types: These are the different kinds of inspections that you would like to create within the Dashboard

Under Configure Inspections, there are:

- Lists: The list of questions that will appear when selecting a specific inspection; under this is Text Matching, where a set of input strings can be entered for a Text Matching question in a list

- Message Templates: The message that will appear when selecting this inspection

- Outcomes: If applied to an Inspection Type, these are a set of possible outcomes that must be chosen when an agent closes an Inspection.

- Alerts: This sets up alerts for inspections needing further review, based on a set threshold of warnings or failures. Different tests can be selected, as well as how many warnings and/or failures will trigger this alert.

-Selectable Fields: This is a list of preset configured options for a Custom Field, so agents can select one of the options when creating that type of inspection

It is recommended to create the Inspection Type first and then create the associated Lists and Messages, as each Inspection Type can only have one List and one Message Template.
