Admin Guide: Create a New List

An administrator on the account can manage inspections by selecting the gear icon in the lower left hand corner of their dashboard. 


Clicking the Gear Icon will open the Site Settings. From there, you are able to Configure Inspections and click on Lists.



Select Lists and select the + CREATE LIST button in the upper right hand corner. A screenshot of the upper right portion of the Manage Lists screen is shown, with the Create List button highlighted in a red box.


You will be taken to the List Manager where you can add Items to your List. You may also import a .csv file to by selecting the Import List button in the upper right hand corner. 


You will be able to name your list, as well as set how many items you want included. 


On the left-hand window, add the requested items, whether you would like them required, and how you would like it captured: Photo, Photo or Video, Question, Multiple Choice, or Video. There is a character limit of 255 characters (including spaces) for each list item.

Photo: This option will open the camera inside the Truepic Vision app, and have the user take a photo. Optional choices within this question type:
  • (Beta feature) Add Object Detection: Automotive or Jewelry categories can be chosen here, and the object to detect can be selected. When chosen, the results analysis of the photo will also display whether that specific object was detected, and a corresponding confidence level 
    • Automotive: Dashboard, Document, License Plate, Odometer, Tire, VIN Plate
    • Jewelry: Bracelet, Earrings, Necklace, Ring, Watch
  • (Beta feature) Add Content Analysis: This option analyzes content from the photo, and can try to detect two options. If used, information will display in the responses portion of the Inspection Details page
    • Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
    • Odometer

Photo or Video: This option will open the camera inside the Truepic Vision app, and give the user the option to take a photo or a video.

Question:
 This option will allow the user to give a text-based response to the question listed.

Multiple Choice:
 This option will allow the user to select one or several preset options you enter in for them. You will be able to choose whether to allow multiple answers, and follow up questions ("conditional items") based on their answers.

Video: This option will open the camera inside the Truepic Vision app, and give the user the opportunity to take a video.


On each question, you can also set a Capture Limit, which is the number of captures you would like to allow for each item.

Questions can be reordered by dragging the six dots to the left of the question in the Manage List screen.




If you are creating a Multiple Choice Item, you can click the Edit Choices button:

The Edit Choices screen will appear, and a toggle at the top determines whether the user can select multiple answers. Choices can be added.

If you want to group list items, you can create a group.


Conditional Items

If you want to request follow up information based on the user's answer, select the "Add Conditional items" beside the choice:

Once all the conditional questions are created, you will be able to see these back in the Edit Choices screen.

Once you have completed your list, be sure to click SAVE CHANGES
