An administrator on the account can manage inspections by selecting the gear icon in the lower left hand corner of their dashboard.
Clicking the Gear Icon will open the Site Settings. From there, you are able to Manage Inspections and should see Inspection Types.
To create a new inspection, select + CREATE TYPE from the Dashboard.
This will open the Inspection Type window where you can make your selections for the new Inspection Type
Each Inspection Type can only have one List and one Message Template
![]() ![]() | Inspection Type Name: This will appear in the New Inspection drop down when creating new Requests. Teams: Click the +Add Teams button and select the checkbox for each team that you want to have access to this specific Inspection Type. You may add more than one Team. List: Select the specific List from the drop down that you want to associate with this Inspection Type; you may also create a new one from here. The List is a given set of questions set for inspections created with this Inspection Type. *Lock List: Checking this box prevents all Members from modifying the list, even when sending Request for More Photos. Message Template: Select the specific Message Template from the drop down that you want to associate with this Inspection Type; you may also create a new one from here by clicking the +Create button. Language: If your company has already set up messaging templates in another language, select the Language you want the message sent out in for the customer (will not automatically be translated) Outcome Set: Select the Outcome Set from the dropdown that you want to associate with this Inspection Type; you can also create a new one from here. If applied to an Inspection Type, Outcome Sets are a set of possible outcomes that must be chosen when an agent closes an Inspection. Alert: Select the Alert options from the dropdown that you want associated with this Inspection Type; you can also create a new one from here. This option sets up alerts for inspections needing further review, based on a set threshold of warnings or failures. Different tests can be selected, as well as how many warnings and/or failures will trigger this alert. Name: This checkbox combines the "First Name" and "Last Name" fields in the Inspection Request into one singular "Name" field. Custom Fields: A unique identifier for the Request, such as a policy or case number; if another custom field is required, click Add Custom Field. You may also make this Required. Address: Required: This checkbox sets the Address field as a Required field for the Inspection Request to be placed. Enable Geofencing: This checkbox sets a geographical boundary that disables the user's camera inside the app if a picture is attempted outside of the given radius. |
Once you have completed the fields, select SAVE CHANGES and refresh the browser window.
After refreshing, you will now see the new Inspection Type available for your Team. It will also be available in the Team drop down when creating a new Request.
