You can configure multiple choice questions to be conditional, based on the option that the customer has selected.
This allows you to create a multiple choice question and the following options will appear based on the previous response.
Conditional items can only be added to any new or existing multiple choice question.
Example
Multiple Choice Question: Number of Water Heaters?
Options: 0, 1, 2, 3
Should the customer select 0, they can move on to the next question and they will not see any other options
Should the customer select 1, there will be following questions requesting a photo, video, short answer response or selection from a multiple choice listing
- Photo: Water Heater 1
- Short Answer Question: Manufacture Year?
- Multiple Choice Question: Water Heater Location?
- Attic
- Closet
- Garage
- Living Area
- Laundry/Utility Room
- Outside
- Other: ______
Step-by-Step Guide
Open or create a List and select the multiple choice question you would like to add conditional items to.
Select the icon for Edit Choices
This will allow you to change the choices. Clicking beside them will bring up the Conditions Editor.
From here, you may select the option that you want to add conditions and add following questions that will only appear should the customer select that specific option.
As you add more options for your conditional item, you will see those appear in the Conditions Editor.
For each question, toggle on the options that you want to appear when they are selected.
Once you have completed making your selections for the conditional items, go back to the list and select Save Changes to apply your changes to your list.
