Admin Guide: Unsubscribe Customers

App users are able to unsubscribe from inspection request emails (New Inspection Request, Request More, Reminder emails). Clicking Unsubscribe on these emails will take app users to a page where they can unsubscribe. In each email, the unsubscribe link is valid for 30 days.


This means if an app user unsubscribes without fulfilling an inspection request, or unsubscribes and later needs to fill out another inspection request, they may not receive the email containing their new smartlink. This is especially true if the inspection request is only sent to their email.


Dashboard admins are able to view which users have unsubscribed from emails inside the dashboard, in Site Settings, accessed by clicking the Gear icon in the bottom lefthand corner of the screen.

Once in Site Settings, there is a heading for "Manage Customers" and under that, a section called "Unsubscribed List". Any users who have unsubscribed from emails are listed here, along with what date they unsubscribed. If a user shows up here and wants to be resubscribed via email, click the trash icon to the right of their entry to resubscribe them.
