How to Request More Photos

Once the Truepic Vision app user has clicked on the Finish Inspection Button in the app, they are no longer able to Edit or Delete any existing images or further images. In order for them to be able to add more photos or edit/delete existing images, a request for additional photos must be sent.

Open the Inspection Details and click on the three dot menu. From the drop-down, select Request More.




Consider adding a Custom Note in the Request Additional Photos screen. 

Sometimes, especially if the user has already completed the list in the app, it can be confusing for them to receive a request for more items/photos. By adding a custom note, you can let them know what you need from them. We find that this increases the chances of receiving the information you need, and in a timely manner. Don't forget to save the custom note after you enter it.



Click on List to add items, if needed. If a new List item is needed, click List then Manage List to add that item.


Add the new List item(s) as needed, so the end user knows what additional photos or answers you need from them.


Complete the Request Additional Photos form. You can update the phone number, email address or change the send method. When ready, select Send Inspection.




A new text message or email will be sent out to the User for them to complete the inspection, along with any Custom Notes and a new Smartlink


The User will then be able to access their previous Request again, using the new Smartlink, and continue adding photos.
